Overview:Equitas are seeking a committed full-time Maths/PSHCE Teacher. The successful candidate will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons in Maths and PSHCE, following pre-planned curriculums, and overseeing the marking and assessment of studentsā work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in Maths and PSHCE, ensuring alignment with the provided curriculum.
- Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to support academic progress.
- Deliver general cover lessons for other subjects, ensuring continuity in studentsā learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders to support the broader needs of the school.
- Use allocated PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time effectively to meet role objectives and manage workload.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Maths and/or PSHCE is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle a varied workload effectively.
