General Store Manager | Harrogate | Destination Food and Hospitality Retailer

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting an experienced General Manager for this destination food and hospitality retailer based in Harrogate.

A well-established name in the area, this business has grown significantly in the last year to a near 8 figure turnover and 100+ headcount.

With more investment lined up, this represents and exciting time for the further growth of the business and as such they are looking to appoint an experienced General Manager to drive performance across it's food, butchery, grocery, deli, bakery, home and garden and restaurant operations.

As an experience General Manager you will have up to 8 direct reports and c.100 colleagues under your direct control. Your role will encompass everything expected of a GM in terms of driving standards and service, coaching and development and visibly leading by example.

To be considered for this role you will be have the following experience:

  • Proven track record as a General Store Manager or Area Manager from a fast paced, customer centric retail business.
  • Experienced of sales growth, people development and driving a customer centric culture within your business.
  • Proven track record of managing a minimum of £10m turnover and large colleague headcount.
  • Used to working in a hands-on environment but equally adept at the usual administrative requirements.
  • Able to confidently communicate with senior executives who are regularly on site.

In return our client can offer a base salary of up to c.£50,000 + Extensive benefits within a wonderful retail environment.
