Responsibilities: As a Sports Instructor, you will: Plan and Deliver Sports Sessions: Design and lead engaging sports sessions tailored to the needs and abilities of our students. These sessions will promote physical fitness, teamwork, and positive well-being. Adapt to Individual Needs: Understand the unique challenges faced by SEMH students and adapt your teaching methods accordingly. Patience, empathy, and flexibility are key. Promote Positive Behaviour: Encourage positive behaviour and sportsmanship during activities. Use sports as a tool to build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem. Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with other staff members, including teachers, counsellors, and support workers, to create a holistic approach to student development. Monitor Progress: Track students progress, celebrate achievements, and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements: Qualifications: A relevant sports coaching qualification (e.g., Level 2 or higher) is preferred. Experience: Previous experience working with SEMH students or in alternative education settings is advantageous. Passion: A genuine passion for sports and its potential to positively impact young peoples lives. Adaptability: Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs and learning styles. Team Player: Collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with colleagues. Enhanced DBS Check: Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
