Focus on either Personal Tax or Corporate Tax
Responsible for overseeing tax compliance on behalf of clients within the portfolio; tax return preparation, submissions to HMRC and payment advise
Work closely with colleagues in the department and firm
Assist with ad hoc tasks in addition to compliance work
Liaise with HMRC re clients and third parties
Communication with clients
Report directly within the tax Team to the Associate Partner/Senior Manager

Skills required:

Previous experience of working within a tax role would be beneficial but not essential
Excellent levels of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload efficiently
Work in a fast paced environment
Technically proficient
Quality organisational skills
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
ATT/CTA qualifications beneficial but not essential
Ability to communicate effectively with clients

In return the Tax Advisor will receive a salary of £27,000 - £32,000 per annum and will be working for one of the top firms in Harrogate. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm with one hour for lunch. You will be working in smart, modern and professional offices with onsite parking and close to Harrogate centre.
