We are currently seeking an experienced Surveying Manager with a strong background in passive fire protection and fire safety to join a leading specialist in the sector. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing surveyors and a proven track record in the passive fire protection industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of surveyors to ensure high-quality, efficient surveying of fire protection systems.
  • Manage and mentor surveyors, ensuring training and development needs are met.
  • Coordinate fire safety surveys and assessments for a variety of building types.
  • Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and industry standards, providing technical guidance where necessary.
  • Review and approve survey reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with clients, offering technical advice and recommendations on fire protection measures.
  • Maintain detailed records of surveys, inspections, and remedial work.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of fire safety systems and processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in passive fire protection, fire stopping, and fire door surveying.
  • Strong managerial skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Relevant fire safety qualifications (e.g., Fire Door Inspections, Passive Fire Protection).
  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
