This small but successful firm, located on the outskirts of London, presents an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a dynamic, multi-specialist environment. In this position, you'll manage your own workload, billables, and budgets—making budget supervision essential. You will be the prime point of contact for Audit which will form 50% of your role. In time, if successful, you may be given the opportunity to grow the team. You’ll be a key player in the firm's audits, with the expectation to deliver excellence and go the extra mile.This role offers the perfect balance, providing a clear path for growth, professional autonomy, and a competitive salary for the local market.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead audit planning and execution with the team.
  • Finalise audit assignments and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP (FRS 102).
  • Communicate directly with clients to develop strategic solutions.
  • Handle the preparation and auditing of consolidated accounts.
  • Proactively monitor and manage assignment budgets.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Minimum of three years' experience, with at least 40% of your role focused on audits.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in accounts preparation under UK GAAP.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with multiple accounting systems.
Remuneration
  • 50000 - 60000 DOE
