Job Purpose
  • Support a diverse portfolio of clients, working alongside Managers to ensure budgets and deadlines are met
  • Support audit engagements from planning to completion, championing service excellence at every step
  • Preparation of financial statements for Limited Companies
  • Assist Senior Auditors and Accounts Managers with their portfolio, working closely with Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
  • Preparation of accounts for Partnerships and Sole Traders
  • Nurture and maintain enhanced relationships with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving on-the-go
  • Support the development of junior staff by reviewing work and offering feedback
  • Keep up to date with audit regulations and emerging trends that could impact the audit function
  • Champion your own professional development by undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or with the desire to begin studying
  • Qualified by experience also considered
  • A proven track record of working on audit engagements within practice
  • Excellent understanding of UK audit regulations
  • Good IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure
  • Reliable, professional and with a keen eye for detail
  • A team player who is eager to support the wider team
  • A drive to progress within the firm by undertaking training and further learning
