The RoleAs a BMS Commissioning Engineer, you will:
- Commission and test BMS systems, ensuring all components (including HVAC, lighting, and security integrations) are installed and operational to specification.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and validation of BMS systems, delivering high-quality solutions.
- Configure and program systems such as Trend, Tridium, Schneider, or Siemens to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Document commissioning activities, including test reports, as-built drawings, and checklists.
- Provide training and technical support to clients and stakeholders on system operation and maintenance.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience commissioning BMS systems, ideally with Trend, Tridium, Schneider, or Siemens.
- A strong understanding of building management systems, including HVAC and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet).
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications, such as BCIA01, 02 & 03 or specific manufacturer certifications (e.g., Trend, Tridium).
- Knowledge of electrical safety and hands-on experience with commissioning tools/software.
