My client is a hugely respected, secondary school that enjoys strong links to the local community and close knit support team.An experienced Business Manager is required to provide professional leadership and direction to the various support function teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operational functions including Finance, HR, Facilities Management, Health and Safety, Marketing and IT.
  • Work closely with the Headteacher and Board of Governors to implement the school's strategic plan.
  • Lead the development and execution of projects related to school expansion, facilities upgrades, and technology integration.
  • Manage the school's budget to ensure financial health and sustainability, including procurement to ensure best value for money on all services, suppliers and products.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, promoting a safe and effective environment for students and staff.
The successful applicant will bring their undoubted experience of working as a bursar or school business manager to help guide the senior management team into the future. You will be highly motivated, credible and be able to demonstrate the commercial experience to lead and drive improvements within the business functions of the school.  It is important to have the ability to work well as part of a team but have the confidence and skill-set to work independently.  You will be an effective communicator and experienced line manager, being able to mentor and develop multi-faceted teams.
