We are Hiring for a Permanent position of Business Development Manager into a International Bank Based in Harrow. JOB ROLE To augment the retail business of the bank by sourcing and marketing of Retail Products, predominantly Buy to Let (BTL) Mortgages while ensuring seamless end to end customer experience. Pursuit of new business opportunities through appropriate networking channels and by promoting customer/community awareness of the Bank's products and services.οƒ˜ In depth experience of Retail lending products such as Buy to Let Mortgages & commercial lending.JOB RESPONSIBILITY οƒ˜ To deliver superior service to the brokers or customers and to persuade them to place their business with Bank. οƒ˜ To Self generate appropriate new business for targeted market. οƒ˜ To be responsible for achieving established individual and Bank targets through active involvement/participation in sales management in conjunction with Head Intermediary Relations. οƒ˜ To establish and maintain relationship with the broker while keeping them apprised of our products and lending criteria. To communicate the salient features of our products and to ensure that our criteria is understood by them οƒ˜ To Arrange and attend business meetings and other business/social events to promote brand awareness and identify and target new sales opportunities. οƒ˜ To Undertake networking activities (during and outside of normal working hours/days) to promote the brand by building excellent working relationships with Brokers, Networks and other stakeholders . οƒ˜ To Act as key account manager to mortgage brokers / network where appropriate οƒ˜ To ensure compliance with all Bank policies,procedures and to keep up to date with policies and relevant regulatory guidelines and issues. οƒ˜ To efficiently manage business pipeline by appropriately diarising and following up on leads. οƒ˜ Appropriate and effective administration, monitoring, reporting, communication and liaison. οƒ˜ To set and manage the expectation of the broker / customer to explore possibility of repeat business from clients. οƒ˜ To support brokers in keying of cases and ensure quality business is placed with us οƒ˜ To introduce new brokers and Networks to Bank to help bank capture bigger share of the market οƒ˜ To undertake any other responsibilities as delegated by the line managers.οƒ˜ Proven strong relationship management and business development capability. οƒ˜ Track record for exceeding varied targets. οƒ˜ Familiar with mortgage marketplace, with a proven record of buiding and maintaining such a customer base οƒ˜ Considerable experience of building a client base using internal and external networks. οƒ˜ Liaise with other stakeholders including Products, Underwriting, Intermediary business delivery, Credit Admin etc. οƒ˜ Understanding of the impact of the regulatory environment on the Business.
