We currently are looking to recruit one Team Leader for a care home.

Post: Team Leader

Salary: £14.95ph

Preferred availability: Either day or night shift (7:30am – 7:45pm, 7:30pm – 7:45am)

Hours: Min. 3 shifts per week (35.25hrs)

Duties (and preferred experience):

  • Medication cycle: Ordering, logging in, administration, carry forward, replenishment, auditing
  • Care planning using Person Centered Software (PCS) – writing care plans, updating, risk assessment, management of care file incl. updates
  • Referrals to multi-disciplinary team (Community Matron, dietician, district nurse team, GP, pharmacy, mental health)
  • Management of care team (up to 6 HCA staff and ancillary staff
  • Good communication and written English
  • Two years experience minimum working in social care which must include nursing or residential home
  • Experience of managing physical health illness in a care setting
  • Ability to learn systems quickly]
  • IT literate
  • An exceptionally organised individual with good time management, attention to detail and a knack for managing multiple priorities
  • Experience of care planning.
  • Experience of risk assessing and implementing risk management plans
