- Supervise interactions between children and their parents and siblings, as needed.
- Safely transport children between their homes or placements.
- Ensure that supervised contact sessions are documented and conducted in the best interests of the children, typically those under Child Protection plans or in the care of the Local Authority.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a social care setting, either paid or volunteer, with a proven history of direct work with children and families.
- Completed relevant training related to children and families, holding a child care qualification (e.g., GNVQ or NNEB) or equivalent, and possessing experience working with children and families.
- Willingness to engage in further specialized training and professional development to acquire the necessary skills, knowledge, and expertise for the role.
- Availability to work unsocial hours regularly to meet service requirements.
