Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Manager to oversee our data management processes and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of our data assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and SIMS/Arbour.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement data management strategies to optimise the use of data across the organisation.
Oversee the design and maintenance of our data warehouse, ensuring it meets business needs.
Utilise SIMS for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights that can inform business strategies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Lead projects involving big data initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in data management, with a strong understanding of big data technologies.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis techniques.
Proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
Familiarity with SIMS is essential.
Experience with Tableau or other visualisation tools is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is desirable.
