Plumbing Technician 

Location: Northwest London

Hours: Part-Time - Tuesday and Thursdays

Salary: £15 - 18 per hour

This role offers technical support to both staff and students, ensuring a conducive learning environment through effective management of resources and support services.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Liaise closely with the Curriculum Manager & Head of Department to ensure support aligns with the needs of the Directorate.
  • Prepare materials and apparatus for demonstrations, practical work, and examinations as directed.
  • Install, check, and implement new equipment and resources, ensuring their correct operation.
  • Manage the care and maintenance of tools and tool stocks, including their issuance and collection from students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Formal qualifications in the relevant subject area up to level 3, including English and Maths.
  • A Level 2 IT qualification is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team development skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good IT and administrative skills with the ability to maintain accurate tracking records for tools and equipment.
  • Demonstrable experience in using equipment and adhering to safe working practices.
