Level 3 Nursery Nurse

• Location: Within the Harrow Borough
• Permanent, all-year-round nursery setting
• Job Type: Full-time
• Annual Salary: £20,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our team on a permanent basis. This role requires a passionate individual who holds a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare. The position offers a rotating schedule within the nursery’s operational hours from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide high-quality childcare and early education by engaging with children in a range of educational activities.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Develop and implement daily routines that meet the emotional, social, and physical needs of the children.
• Observe and record children’s growth, development, and behaviour using electronic and paper records.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children’s day and developmental progress.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures within the nursery setting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare or above (not health and social care qualification)
• Experience in a nursery setting is preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and ability to implement its standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly within a team and adapt to the dynamic needs of young children.
