Job Title: SEND 1:1 TA Role Harrow

Start Date: September 2024
Salary: £90 -£100 per day
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join one of our schools in Harrow. This is a full-time position, starting in January. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for early years students.
- Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Help plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and lessons.
- Assist with the assessment and monitoring of students' progress.
- Provide individual and group support to students as directed by the class teacher.
- Promote positive behavior and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of each child.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to student reports as required.
- Attend relevant staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant is desirable.
- Hold a valid DBS certificate registered on the update service.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development.
