The SEN TA Job:

Reeson Education are currently seeking an SEN TA to work in a lovely Ofsted Outstanding SEN School, in Harrow. This is a full time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate later down the line. This school specialises in educating students with ASC, MLD and SLD therefore it would be beneficial for the successful SEN TA to have previous experience working with complex needs, although this is not essential. This specific role will be working as a Teaching Assistant supporting small groups of children in Key Stage 3 & 4. It is also worth baring in mind that the successful ASC TA will need to be happy to provide personal care.

The School:

They have approximately 70 - 200 students between the ages of 11 -19. They can support pupils with various complex needs. It is the school's priority to make sure each student has an individual focus, that is not only enjoyable but age appropriate. This school has fantastic amenities for members of staff and are able to provide their employees with personal and professional development.

The Headteacher is incredibly successful and is highly valued by all members of staff. They are looking for someone who is confident, driven, eager to learn, flexible and can take initiative. As this vacancy is an immediate start, it is key for any new member of staff that joins the school that a smooth transition takes place, in order to create minimal disruption for the students and staff.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children with complex needs in either a mainstream or a special school. We need someone who is highly confident in supporting students with complex needs.
