Design Technology Technician - £28k - Perm Contract
One of the world's leading independent schools, base in Harrow are searching for a passionate Design Technology Technician to join their team in September on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting time to join the team, as you will be joining as the team move into a brand new, state-of-the-art £17m Engineering, Design & Technology building. The facilities will be THE best in the entire country, with all the bells and whistles!
As a Design Technology Technician, you will be supporting the Engineering, Desing & Technology teaching department with the maintenance of departmental tools, equipment, materials and resources. You will be ensuring health & safety is maintained as well as operating brand new 2D & 3D Printing machinery, as well as wood & metal cutting facilities.
This position is suitable for an experienced Design Technology Technician, as well as someone with experience operating Design Technology machinery. For example, if you are an engineering, art or design & technology graduate you may well have the transferrable experience. The school is happy to support you with training, especially health and safety workshops.
This is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable school experience and first step for Aspiring Teachers!
