We are seeking an Electrical Technician to support our electrical installation lecturer at a further education college. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in electrical work and a passion for education.
Day-to-day of the role:- Assist the electrical installation lecturer in preparing and setting up equipment and materials for classes.
- Provide technical support to students during practical sessions.
- Maintain and manage the inventory of electrical supplies and tools.
- Ensure all equipment is safe and in working order, performing routine checks and maintenance.
- Support the lecturer in demonstrating practical skills and techniques in electrical installation.
- Help in the organisation and clean-up of the workshop after classes.
- Strong background in electrical work.
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical is essential.
- Experience in an educational or training environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in the workshop.
