Are you an experienced HR/ People Partner?

I am delighted to be supporting one of my clients, based in London (NW) as they look to recruit for a full time, permanent, People Business Partner to join their team.

The salary for this role is up to circa £52k per annum and comes with an attractive hybrid working pattern.

People Business Partner:

Responsibilities include:

  • The People BP will Partner with senior leaders and managers to identify business drivers and people challenges, using data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Provide expert guidance on workforce planning, performance management, and future organisational needs.
  • Offer comprehensive support on People Services commitments, including reward and recognition systems and employee well-being programs.
  • Ensure timely completion of cyclical People Services activities, providing support and oversight to leadership and management.
  • Lead organisational redesign projects, support cultural change, and coach managers on complex people-related challenges.
  • Act as lead on a designated expertise area, developing policies and practices related to EDI, mental health, or employee value proposition.
  • Oversee the Assistant People Business Partner, fostering their development and supporting the broader People Services team.
  • Work closely with the People Services Leadership team to deliver the overall strategy, keeping up to date with best practices and regulatory changes.

Experience required:

  • Previous experience working in an HR/ People Partner role or similar
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership to develop people solutions to complex people challenges
  • Experience in supporting managers in all areas of people matters
  • Experience in developing/updating policies
  • Sound working knowledge and understanding of UK employment legislation
  • Ability to operate in a consultative manner, demonstrate confidence and ability to push back, whilst maintaining professional relationships
  • Be able to demonstrate successful management of recruitment, ER, Performance Management and the implementation of HR initiatives.
