Role Overview:As a Mixed Tax Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing a broad range of tax services, consisting of mainly corporate and personal taxation. You will be responsible for overseeing a small team of tax professionals, managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and delivering proactive tax planning strategies to clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to take on greater responsibility within a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate, international, and personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and providing high-quality tax advice.
  • Lead and oversee the tax compliance process, including the preparation and review of tax returns and submissions.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, helping them optimise tax structures and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing a responsive and proactive service.
  • Manage a small team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
  • Review and manage tax audits and disputes, representing clients before tax authorities when required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated tax solutions to clients.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in tax, with a focus on corporate and personal tax.
  • Proven track record in managing a team and delivering excellent client service.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex tax issues.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software.
