Our client, a forward-thinking chartered accountancy and outsourcing group, is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts and Tax Manager to join their team in London. With offices in Mayfair and Harrow on the Hill, this group is on an exciting growth trajectory and offers excellent opportunities for career development.

Position Overview

As a Senior Accounts and Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing end-to-end accounting and tax filings for limited companies across various sectors. You will collaborate with clients and directors to drive the business forward, leveraging your expertise in accounting and tax matters.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare management accounts for large clients
  • Manage end-to-end accounting and tax filings for limited companies
  • Engage with clients and directors to drive business growth
  • Produce final sets of Financial Statements with full disclosures
  • Prepare tax computations (Corporate, Individual, VAT, Capital Gains)
  • Advise clients on tax matters
  • Manage and motivate a team of seniors, semi-seniors, and juniors
  • Deliver services in line with client service level agreements
  • Collaborate with account directors and partners to drive value for clients
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA fully qualified with at least 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Experienced in end-to-end accounting and financial statement preparation
  • Proficient in preparing tax computations and advising clients on tax matters
  • Confident in client-facing roles and articulating services clearly
  • Experience in managing and motivating a team
  • Proficient in Xero, Quickbooks, IRIS, and other ERP and practice management systems
  • Passionate about leveraging technology in accounting
