3. JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE, APTITUDES AND SKILLSÂ
Essential:Â
•   Knowledge of the primary curriculum which has been effectively applied with successful outcomes.Â
•   Proven ability to employ a range of teaching strategies appropriate to differing abilities and needsÂ
•   Successfully able to implement a variety of methods of classroom organisation in relation to behaviour management.Â
•   An ability to successfully evaluate and record pupil performance with reference to the requirements of the National Curriculum with regard to assessment in the appropriate Key StagesÂ
•   An ability to demonstrate cross-curricular skills, themes and dimensions in teachingÂ
•   An ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide variety of audiencesÂ
•   Proven ability to employ a range of classroom management skillsÂ
•   An ability to plan and evaluate effectivelyÂ
Desirable:Â
•   Knowledge of relevant community languages – Arabic, Somali, Urdu, Gujarati, RomanianÂ
