TimePlan Education is seeking a Cover Supervisor for a Secondary School in Brent to start immediately, covering short-term absences.
Candidates should have experience working within a school setting, ideally at the secondary level, and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is desired.
The role involves supervising cover work, managing student behavior, and addressing any immediate issues during lessons.
An up-to-date DBS is required, preferably registered with the update service, along with two teaching-related references from the last two employers.

Cover SupervisorTimePlan Education are working with a Secondary School in Brent who are looking to secure a pool of regualr supply Cover Supervisor to start asap to cover any short term sickness/absences.

The role of a Cover Supervisor

Supervising the cover work set by the absent teacher
Ensuring the children have the required resources and knowledge to complete the work set by the teacher
Managing the behaviour of pupils during the lesson to ensure all work is completed to a high standard
Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies
Collecting completed work after lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher/department.

What experience do you need to apply for the Cover Supervisor position:

Experience of working within a school setting (ideally Secondary)
Bachelors Degree/Equivalent (desired)
An up-to-date DBS, ideally registered with the update service
Two teaching related references from last two employer
