About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented engineer with a passion for high-end residential automation? We're looking for a Lead AV Engineer to oversee installations, fault finding, commissioning, and snagging for prestigious projects. Leading a team, you'll ensure systems are installed to the highest technical standards, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive excellence across all projects. If you enjoy a hands-on role in smart home automation, this is the perfect opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership - Mentor engineers, oversee installations, and maintain high standards.
  • Fault Finding & Troubleshooting - Solve technical challenges with strong programming expertise.
  • Commissioning & Snagging - Ensure all systems are fully operational and meet client expectations.
  • On-Site Coordination - Liaise with trades, provide guidance, and report project progress.
  • Client Engagement - Conduct surveys, handovers, and service visits for system health checks.
  • System Design Support - Work with the Technical Director on system design when required.
  • Product Testing - Explore and test new AV and automation technologies.
  • Hands-On Installation - Occasionally assist with installations to uphold quality standards.

  • Technical Expertise - Proven experience with Control4, Lutron, Crestron Home and similar smart home systems.
