We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Science, specialising in Biology and Chemistry, to join our successful team. This role is based in Harrow and involves teaching a variety of courses such as A level, BTEC Science, GCSE, Access to HE, and T Levels.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Biology and Chemistry across different levels including A level, BTEC, and T Levels.
- Prepare lesson plans and materials based on the curriculum and educational standards.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and curriculum development activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
- A degree in Science, with a strong focus on Biology and Chemistry.
- Proven teaching experience in the subject area up to and including Level 3 (A Level, T Levels, and/or BTEC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and inspiring young learners.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
