We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity at a well-established nursery based in the heart of Harrow.  The nursery is looking for a dedicated and caring Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their fantastic team.

The nursery prides itself on providing high-quality care and education, where every child is supported to reach their full potential in a safe and stimulating environment.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and supporting children's development, academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support: Support children in their day-to-day activities, both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Support learning and development: Assist in delivering educational activities that promote early literacy, numeracy, and social skills in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Foster positive relationships: Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a welcoming and supportive environment.
  • Observe and assess: Monitor children’s progress and provide feedback to parents and the rest of the team, contributing to individual development plans.
  • Promote inclusivity: Adapt activities and teaching methods to meet the individual needs of all children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Ensure a safe, engaging environment: Maintain a well-organized, stimulating space where children are motivated to explore, play, and learn.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working in early years education, with a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
  • A passion for working with young children and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills with a natural ability to build strong relationships with children and their families.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong commitment to supporting children’s emotional, social, and academic development.
