We are currently partnered with a Secondary School based in Harrow, North West London, who are actively seeking a Physics Teacher to join them on a Long Term Supply basis, ideally for the minimum of one term.
The school has embarked on a pursuit of excellence and is committed to the lives of young people within their community around Harrow. They have achieved an 'Outstanding' rating from Ofsted and are keen to retain this rating by hiring teachers who closely align with their values and ethos.
This role would ideally suit a Physics Teacher based in London and within a commutable distance to the Harrow area, who is actively seeking a new challenge!
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver interactive and engaging physics lessons that cover a diverse range of learning styles and are inclusive to all abilities.
- Plan and implement creative and innovative teaching strategies to inspire students' curiosity and critical thinking in physics.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that is conducive to learning and academic excellence.
This role will require:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Physics Teacher, teaching to secondary school students in the UK
- Comprehensive knowledge of the UK curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
