Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
- Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
- Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector.
- Degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
- Device Qualification.
- Must be qualified and experienced in performing echocardiograms independently and able to perform pacing / PPM checks
- Experienced in cardiac procedures eg: bubble echo, stress echo, drug induced echo, and stress echo with contract.
Duties of this role include:

You work alongside and support the departmental team leaders & Clinical Services Manager - Cardiology in providing high quality healthcare and technical expertise. • You work in
accordance with the standards set by the Society for Cardiological Science & Technology, the British Cardiac Society and the company.

You provide efficient and effective cardiology in the inpatient, day case and outpatient setting.

You lead the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community, demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.

You plan and perform, with guidance, a wide range of Cardiac Catheter lab procedures to a high level of competence, these include coronary angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker and ICD implantation and electrophysiology, when trained to do so.
• You plan, perform and interpret, with guidance, a range of investigations to a high level of competence for all other Cardiology investigations, including ECG, Holter monitoring, BP monitoring, exercise testing etc.
