Sonic Summary

Harrow Council is seeking a handyman to work in the parks of Harrow Borough.
Candidates must have NVQ level 3 in Amenity Horticulture or equivalent experience, along with a full, clean UK driving license.
The role requires experience operating powered plant machinery and maintaining park furniture, as well as skills in carpentry, bricklaying, fencing, and paving.
The position is customer-facing, requiring good interpersonal skills and experience in a similar industry.
The hourly pay starts at £17.66, increasing to £18.05 after 12 weeks of employment.

Education, Training and Qualifications

NVQ level 3 in Amenity Horticulture or able to demonstrate relevant experience
Full, clean and current UK Driving Licence

Experience

Experience of operating powered plant machine
Experience in the installation and maintenance of parks furniture
Experience in the use of mobile working technology
Experience and skill in carpentry, bricklaying, fencing and slabbed paving surfaces
Experience and ability to work in a customer facing industry
