An outstanding, modern, Creative Secondary School located within the Borough of Harrow, is searching for graduates to fill an Economics Academic Mentor role for a September start.
You will be working across the Economics Department, supporting KS3-5 lessons, while having a focus on attainment & the quality of learning. This is the perfect opportunity if you're a Trainee Economics Teacher looking to gain experience before enrolling on teacher training.
The Head Teacher would ideally like an Economics or Business Graduate including any related degrees.
Economics Academic Mentor - Job Description
- ASAP start - Full academic year
- 105 - 110 per day - Term time only
- Full time - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Tutoring Economics 1:1 and to groups of between 2-6 Children
- Working across KS3-5 with a focus on raising attainment
- Carrying out GCSE & A Level interventions
- Enrolling onto the Trainee Economics Teacher (Schools Direct)
- Located in the London Borough of Harrow
Economics Academic Mentor - Person Specification
- Must have a desirable degree in the above subjects from a reputable University
- Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
- Must be confident within your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum
- You must be able to engage and motivate the students
- Commitment and ambition to succeed are key throughout!
