A higher level teaching assistant plays a key role in supporting teachers by helping deliver lessons, providing tailored support to individual students or small groups, and assisting with classroom management and student engagement.
They take on the responsibility of planning and leading specific learning activities or interventions, working independently to improve student learning outcomes.
As a higher level teaching assistant you will contribute in the assessment process by observing students, recording progress, and providing feedback to teachers, helping to refine instructional strategies to better meet students' needs.
They work closely with students who have special educational needs or disabilities, adapting learning materials and methods to ensure all students can access the curriculum effectively.
In addition to their instructional duties, a higher level teaching assistant may also handle administrative tasks such as preparing resources, organizing materials, and assisting with school events, ensuring smooth operations within the school.
