History Teaching Assistant

A fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Harrow are on the hunt for an Aspiring History Teacher for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time and long-term post!

You will be working across the History Department, supporting KS3-5 lessons, while having a focus on attainment & the quality of learning. This is the perfect opportunity if you're an aspiring History Teacher looking to gain experience before enrolling on teacher training.

The Head Teacher would ideally like a History Graduate with any of the following History related degrees:

History Graduate
Secondary Tutor (Subject dependent)
Working across KS3-5 with a focus on raising attainment
Carrying out GCSE & A Level interventions
Enrolling on the Aspiring History Teacher Programme (Schools Direct)
ASAP start - Full-Time & Long-Term
£105 - £110 per day
Located in the Borough of Harrow

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Must have a desirable degree in the above subjects from a reputable University
Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
Must be confident within your ability and knowledge of both the GCSE & A Level curriculum
You must be able to engage and motivate the students
Commitment and ambition to succeed are key throughout!
