We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Physics to join our client's successful Science department. This role involves teaching a variety of courses including A Level, BTEC Science, GCSE, Access to HE, and T Levels, with a focus on Physics.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across different levels, including A Level, BTEC, and T Levels, specialising in Physics.
  • Develop and update course materials in line with current educational standards and innovations in the teaching of Physics.
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to the development of teaching strategies and curriculum design.
  • Support students' academic and personal growth, providing guidance and mentorship to help them achieve their educational goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and insights in the teaching of Physics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in Science, with a specialisation in Physics.
  • Proven teaching experience in the subject area up to Level 3, including A Level, T Levels, and/or BTEC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and inspiring students aged 16-18.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development; willingness to achieve a Level 5 teaching qualification (financial support provided by the College).
