Calling all Graduates and Aspiring Psychologists…. Does working at an ‘Outstanding’ Primary school where you could help children with SEND needs interest you? If so, at Ribbons & Reeves, we are looking for an enthusiastic and supportive SEND Teaching Assistant to work for a year at one of Harrow's schools, helping students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This SEND Teaching Assistant Role will be a full-time role in term-time. With sociable hours and a rewarding nature; this opportunity is perfect for Graduates searching for an entry-level role. 

SEND Teaching Assistant | About the role:

  • A SEND Teaching Assistant could earn up to £105 a day (including holiday pay!) | Paid weekly via PAYE | Weekly pay in Arrears
  • You will be provided with full safeguarding training and guidance on role expectations before undertaking the role of a SEND Teaching Assistant
  • You’ll be supporting children with SEND with their class work, along with implementing skills and strategies developed in the classroom.
  • You will be leading your extracurricular sessions or 1:1 sessions with children outside of the classroom to assist their learning further, and developing your skills.
  • You will become a friendly face amongst staff and students.
SEND Teaching Assistant | About you:

  • A First-Class Degree in Psychology or a related subject.
  • Child-Centred Experience would be advantageous.
  • Aspirations to become a Psychologist or Therapist in the future.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and a calm temperament.
