We are currently recruiting for a part time Cleaning Supervisor for a prestigious school based in Harrow, HA2. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will oversee the daily cleaning operation of the school premises, following tasks set by the Cleaning Coordinator and reporting directly to them.

Please see below the job description for the role:

  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure high standards of cleanliness in assigned areas, following work schedules set by the Cleaning Coordinator or Head of Facilities.
  • Review Schedules: Adjust cleaning team schedules as needed.
  • Equipment Checks: Perform daily checks on equipment and report defects. Return equipment to its designated area after use.
  • Product Validity: Ensure all equipment and products are within their use-by dates.
  • Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety policies, reporting any hazards to the Cleaning Coordinator.
  • Uniform and ID: Wear appropriate footwear, full uniform, and display ID at all times.
  • Assist with Other Tasks: Help with additional tasks to improve cleaning services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work harmoniously with the Cleaning Coordinator and colleagues.

As well as this, the job description may be updated to reflect changing circumstances, and employees may be asked to perform other duties as needed.

This role is a part time position, with shift times being 4pm to 9pm during term time, and 9am to 2pm throughout school holidays. Due to working within education, you will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS.
