We are recruiting in the South East for a knowledgeable Legionella Risk Assessor. You will be joining a well-established Environmental Compliance firm, with rapidly-growing client base. They are seeking a candidate who can fit in with their friendly and professional atmosphere and would uphold their reputation for delivering a comprehensive service to clients. Due to the nature of the role, our client can consider candidates of varying experience, including those who are interested in training into Legionella Risk Assessing.

Contracts of work are based around: Harrow, Wembley, Edgware, Watford, Borehamwood, Potters Bar, Enfield, Cheshunt, Chigwell, Slough, Windsor, Staines-upon-Thames, Feltham, Richmond, Twickenham, Maidenhead, Marlow, Reading, High Wycombe, Uxbridge, Woking, Epsom, Mitcham, Frimley, Camberley, Bracknell, Wokingham, Farnborough, Guildford.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Applicants must have proven experience undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- Ideally, you will be qualified with the City & Guilds (or WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- Excellent technical knowledge, including HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
- It would be beneficial to have Water Hygiene / Remedial experience, but not essential
- IT literate
- Good written ability

The Role:
- Undertaking thorough Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- Completing ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Providing detailed technical advice to clients, explaining any found risks and making practical recommendations
- Making sure to adhere to ACOP L8 and HSG guidelines at all times
- Writing detailed reports, including schematic drawings
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss requirements
- Supporting training of new members of staff
