Pastoral Assistant | Harrow | £100-£120 per day | Full Time | Long Term-Permanent | November Start

LTF Recruitment is working with a supportive Secondary School in Harrow to find a dedicated Pastoral Assistant. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering a safe and positive environment, supporting the social, emotional, and behavioural needs of students. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives by providing essential support and guidance.

Main Duties:

  • Building strong, supportive relationships with students to promote well-being and positive behaviour.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of behaviour and support plans.
  • Supporting students during challenging situations and providing a listening ear.
  • Monitoring student progress and liaising with teachers, parents, and external agencies when necessary.
  • Promoting a safe and inclusive school environment.

Applicant Specification:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational or pastoral setting is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with students.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to supporting students' development and well-being.
