- Carry out legal work and develop, implement, and support innovative practice management processes.
- Advise on and manage legal files for commercial matters, including property, planning, regeneration, contract, and procurement law, on behalf of shared services councils and other clients. Opportunities exist to move between teams and cover a broader range of legal specialisms.
- Provide advice, conduct research, and support lawyers as needed across various team functions.
- Assist with training officers, which may occur outside normal office hours and off-site.
- Work under the supervision of qualified colleagues and provide administrative and systems assistance as a super user of an electronic case management system.
- LPC Qualification: Must hold an LPC qualification.
- Legal Proficiency: Proficient in English law, practice, and procedures related to property, planning, regeneration, contracts, and procurement.
- Public Law Knowledge: Understanding of public law principles as they apply to local government.
- Task Management: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
- File Management: Competence in meeting Lexcel standards for file management.
- Client Care: Excellent client care skills.
- Legal Research: Proficiency in conducting legal research.
