Position: Foot Mobile Service Engineer

Industry: Rainwater Harvesting & Grey Water Recycling Systems

Location: Harrow, to work Inside the M25

Salary/Package: 40,000k – 50,000 (dependant on experience), NO Veh, 22 days holiday plus banks, PPE/Tools, Overtime available, pension enrolment after probation.

Job Purpose:

As a Service Engineer specialising in rainwater harvesting and grey water recycling systems, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sustainable water systems for both residential and commercial clients. You will ensure the systems operate efficiently and meet regulatory standards, while providing excellent customer service.

*This role is a foot mobile position, so a vehicle will not be provided, but you will receive an Oyster card to get in and around M25/London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install rainwater harvesting and grey water recycling systems according to company standards and client specifications.
  • Ensure all systems are properly commissioned, calibrated, and functioning optimally.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of installed systems, including tanks, filtration units, pumps, control systems, and piping.
  • Perform diagnostic testing and fault-finding to ensure system efficiency and identify potential issues.
  • Repair and replace parts as required to maintain system performance.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, addressing any operational issues.
  • Troubleshoot faults or malfunctions within systems and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Complete all required paperwork and reports, including safety checks and risk assessments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and emerging best practices related to water recycling systems.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including the installation and servicing of pumps, tanks, control panels, and filters.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
  • Ability to think creatively and adapt to on-site challenges to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality service and building strong client relationships.
