Tezlom are looking for aRegistered Mental Health Nurseto work within a prison based in North London.
A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:
- To assess health and social care needs and negotiate care plans with patients and staff
- To undertake risk assessments
- To work within the Prison Service safer custody framework for managing Suicide and self-harm
- To work closely with other departments to ensure that all risks are assessed and managed.
- To function fully within the Integrated Mental Health Team, assessing and treating patients through their journey in prison.
- To accept referrals and triage patients with the team.
- To undertake comprehensive assessments
- To provide effective case management
- To ensure effective pre-release care planning
Requirements of the Prison RMN/Nurse:
- Relevant nursing qualification and an active NMC Registration (Mental Health)
- Ideally you must have Prison Clearance and experience working within a prison
