What Were Looking for:

  • Experience in acute nursing, with a strong understanding of ward management
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns as required
  • Strong recruitment and selection skills
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a BSc in Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development (e.g., relevant clinical certifications)
  • Valid NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of the hospital ward and nursing staff
  • Provide clinical leadership, ensuring efficient use of ward resources and excellence in patient care
  • Enhance patient satisfaction by maintaining high levels of customer service
  • Lead the nursing team in meeting all clinical governance and quality standards
  • Promote and uphold professional standards in line with the NMC Code of Conduct and HCPC guidelines
  • Act as a role model for the team, ensuring high levels of clinical excellence and compassionate care
