This is a temporary role, working on an ad-hoc basis, offering a competitive pay rate of £15.29 PAYE per hour.Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, guests, and suppliers during events.
  • Provide prompt solutions to client inquiries and ensure compliance with Terms & Conditions.
  • Oversee and support casual bar and event staff, delivering on-the-job training as needed.
  • Manage cash operations, including opening and closing tills, and ensure adherence to the cash-handling policy.
  • Handle stock management for events, recording all relevant transactions (e.g., pre-paid drinks, bar tabs, hospitality drinks) on the EPoS system, and ensuring accurate staff recording of stock usage.
  • Implement layout changes during events as per the event plan.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the event and ensure the venue is properly cleaned afterward.
  • Brief all casual staff, suppliers, and caterers on safety and emergency procedures for the venue.
Requirements:
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure without on-site supervision.
  • Strong leadership skills to supervise, motivate, and delegate tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
  • Quick-thinking and sound decision-making to address issues promptly.
