We are seeking a temporary IT Lecturer to join our client's educational team in North-West London. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in computer science, specifically with practical experience in Python, .Net, and databases. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Level 2 and Level 3 courses.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lectures and practical sessions in Python, .Net, databases, and general computer science.
- Prepare lesson plans and materials according to the curriculum requirements.
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress in IT subjects.
- Maintain up-to-date records of students' attendance, assessments, and grades.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance teaching methodologies and curriculum development.
- Provide guidance and support to students on their academic and career aspirations.
- Proven experience in teaching IT subjects at the FE level.
- Strong practical knowledge of Python, .Net, and databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Must have relevant qualifications in computer science or a related field.
- Previous experience in a Further Education (FE) setting is essential; candidates with only Higher Education (HE) experience will not be considered for this role.
