We are seeking a Multi Skills Technician to join a further education college in West London. This role requires a skilled individual with knowledge in various trades such as bricklaying, plumbing, and carpentry. The position is ideal for someone who is ready to start immediately and is looking for a term-time, ongoing opportunity.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labour in construction projects within the college facilities.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks across different trades including bricklaying, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with safety regulations.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for various college events.
- Work closely with the facilities management team to prioritise and schedule maintenance tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in trades such as bricklaying, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a construction or educational environment.
- Flexibility to handle various tasks as needed.
