Milk Education is excited to partner with a primary school based in Harrow who are currently seeking a PPA teacher.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across different year groups, cover PPA time for classroom teachers, and contribute to a collaborative and nurturing environment that focuses on excellence and inclusion.
As a PPA Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in a range of subjects while ensuring that students remain engaged, inspired, and eager to learn. You’ll play a key role in supporting teachers by delivering outstanding lessons and helping to maintain a positive, productive learning atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects for different year groups, ensuring that lessons meet the needs of all students.
- Cover PPA time for classroom teachers, ensuring continuity of learning while promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor progress through observations and feedback, providing timely updates to teachers and parents when necessary.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, motivated, and challenged to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure consistency and high standards of education across the school.
- Promote positive behavior and provide pastoral support to students to ensure their well-being and development.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching across primary year groups.
- A passion for teaching and a flexible, adaptable approach to working in different classrooms and year groups.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive and engaging environment for students.
- A creative, proactive approach to delivering exciting and varied lessons that inspire and motivate children.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.
- A commitment to collaboration and working as part of a supportive teaching team.
