This is a fantastic opportunity to work across different year groups, cover PPA time for classroom teachers, and contribute to a collaborative and nurturing environment that focuses on excellence and inclusion.

As a PPA Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in a range of subjects while ensuring that students remain engaged, inspired, and eager to learn. You’ll play a key role in supporting teachers by delivering outstanding lessons and helping to maintain a positive, productive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects for different year groups, ensuring that lessons meet the needs of all students.
  • Cover PPA time for classroom teachers, ensuring continuity of learning while promoting a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor progress through observations and feedback, providing timely updates to teachers and parents when necessary.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, motivated, and challenged to reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure consistency and high standards of education across the school.
  • Promote positive behavior and provide pastoral support to students to ensure their well-being and development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in teaching across primary year groups.
  • A passion for teaching and a flexible, adaptable approach to working in different classrooms and year groups.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain a positive and engaging environment for students.
  • A creative, proactive approach to delivering exciting and varied lessons that inspire and motivate children.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to collaboration and working as part of a supportive teaching team.
