Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible foridentifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth within the construction recruitment sector. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for business development, an understanding of the construction recruitment market, and a strong network within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to expand our presence in the construction recruitment market.
Identify and target potential clients within the construction sector, including general contractors, subcontractors, engineering firms, and consultancies.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure successful delivery on client requirements, enhancing overall client satisfaction.
Conduct market research to stay informed of construction industry trends, competitor activities, and recruitment demands.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients.
Manage and negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring profitable outcomes for both the client and the company.
Regularly report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
Proven experience in business development within the recruitment or construction sector.
Strong knowledge of the construction industry, including an understanding of industry roles and hiring challenges.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to engage with decision-makers at all levels.
Results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
Proven track record in recruitment with demonstrated ability to achieve targets.
Strong understanding of UK recruitment regulations.
