About the Role

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for troubleshooting? We're looking for an experienced Lead Engineer to manage our client's engineering team and oversee high-level Installations, fault finding, commissioning, and snagging for their prestigious residential projects. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that their systems and installations meet the highest technical standards, solving complex issues, and driving technical excellence across all projects. Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Leadership:
Lead and mentor the engineering team, ensuring high standards of work are maintained both on-site and remotely. You will oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to project specifications and smooth coordination between all involved parties.

Fault Finding & Troubleshooting:
Handle complex fault finding and problem-solving on-site, requiring strong programming skills. Your expertise will be essential in resolving any issues that arise during the installation and commissioning phases of the project.

Commissioning & Snagging:
Oversee the commissioning process and snagging phase, ensuring all systems are fully functional and meet client requirements, as well as their own high standards. You'll ensure every system delivers the best possible performance and client satisfaction.

On-Site Coordination & Decision Making:
Liaise with trades on-site, answering questions and making decisions where necessary. Keeping abreast of site progress, you'll proactively spot potential issues or challenges and feed back detailed and accurate information to the project manager.

Client Engagement & Service Visits:
Perform physical surveys, manage client handovers, and attend service visits for fault finding and health checks on existing systems. Your interactions with clients will ensure smooth post-installation support and maintenance.

Exposure to System Design:
There will be an opportunity to support their Technical Director with system design if you want exposure to the early design stages of our projects.

Product Testing & Exploration:
Test and explore new products and equipment at their showroom, keeping up to date with the latest technologies in the industry and ensuring the systems you install are always at the cutting edge.

Hands-On Installation Support:
As part of a small team, the role will require you to occasionally get hands-on and assist with physical installation when needed. Your expertise will ensure installations meet the same high standards we set across all our projects.
