Sonic Summary

An experienced SEMH Teacher is sought for a full-time, long-term role in Harrow starting January 2025.
The position is in a supportive primary PRU that caters to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, many of whom also have autism and/or ADHD.
Candidates must possess Full QTS, have previous experience with SEMH children, and demonstrate strong behaviour management skills.
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure and a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history are required.
The salary for this role is competitive, and applicants should have the legal right to work in the UK.

Are you an experienced SEMH Teacher looking for a new role in Harrow?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Teacher to join this supportive primary PRU as a SEMH teacher. This is a full time, long-term role starting in January 2025 for the remainder of the academic year.

The School:

The school supports children from Harrow Secondary schools with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. A high number of pupils here also have an additional diagnosis of autism and/or ADHD. Class sizes are therefore smaller with up to six pupils per class and there is a high staff-to-pupil ratio so that children are given the correct support when needed across the school day.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need:

Full QTS
Previous experience working with children with SEMH
Strong behaviour management skills
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
