Supply Teacher Required - Harrow - Work Available Throughout the School Year

Qualifications and Skills Required to work as a Supply Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS with a valid Teacher Reference Number (TRN). Alternatively, significant experience as an unqualified teacher in the UK.
  • Demonstrate your expertise in your preferred year group by delivering lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Leverage your prior classroom experience to seamlessly integrate into a teaching role.
  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude with a passion for teaching, available to work at least one day per week.
  • Hold a valid DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain one through us).

Your Role as a Supply Teacher:

  • Step in for regular teachers who are absent due to illness, personal reasons, or other circumstances, ensuring an uninterrupted learning experience for students.
  • Deliver lessons from provided plans or create your own engaging lessons that showcase your teaching abilities and spark curiosity.
  • Foster a secure and positive learning environment while effectively managing the classroom.
  • Assess student work, offering constructive feedback to support their academic progress and personal development.
  • Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and fellow educators to ensure continuity of instruction and uphold the school's educational standards.
